Business name: Normita’s Cuisine formally known as Normita’s Mexican Cuisine. I also started another branch of smaller carts, Normita's Charcuterie & Snack Bar.

I first started Normita’s cooking by myself but now I've trained a few family members help me in the kitchen for big events.

Running a successful food business has it's down side, you can't give yourself equally to all the things...

My husband and I also have a small farm, but it’s probably just more of me forcing my husband and surprising him with new animals and wild chores. My husband has “graciously volunteered” and accepted the duties of being my trailer driver, mechanic, labor guy, plumber, electrician, book keeper, maintenance guy and basically anything he can do to make my job easier, for FREE.99

I'm still too much of a chicken to haul this big trailer around, so without my hubby, Normita's would be parked in our driveway.

There's a list of family members that we support including my autistic brother, and keeping Normita's profitable is a big help to keep this going.

I use Normita's as therapy, cooking is a passion, it makes me happy. I'm definitely no culinary professional but I cook with my heart and you can taste it.

This used to be a dream and it’s reality now. 
wondering why I don’t open all day everyday? 
AGAIN, I’m a mom first, that’s a very important job. I'm greatful for my husband and his hard work and dedication, that I don’t have to run Normita's all day everyday, and focus on our children.
As for leaving someone else to cook instead of me, I just can’t, I'm tellin you I think you taste love in my food.
